I recently had the pleasure of capturing a cosy November wedding at the stunning Butley Priory in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The venue itself exudes romance with its neutral colour palette, stunning architecture and abundance of natural light, creating the perfect backdrop for Alice and Lewis’s special day.
Alice’s choice of white bridesmaid dresses added an elegant touch to the overall aesthetic, while the gentlemen looked sharp in their black tie attire. As the day progressed, we were blessed with a beautiful golden hour, which provided the dreamiest lighting for capturing intimate and breathtaking couple portraits. My favourite kind of light. During the meal, the couple surprised their guests with singing waiters, adding a touch of entertainment and joy to the celebration.
And let’s not forget the stunning champagne tower that awaited the guests before the couple’s first dance. It was a sight to behold, reminiscent of a glamorous editorial shoot. The sparkling bubbles reflected the love and happiness that filled the room, creating an atmosphere that was warm and inviting. As the evening went on, Alice and Lewis created a cosy and relaxed atmosphere with a fire pit. Guests gathered around, toasting marshmallows and enjoying the warmth that filled the crisp November air.
