This dreamy boho shoot at Wellington Wood, Norfolk, was featured over on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings!
This shoot was full of macramé, Persian rugs, a gorgeous Norfolk woodland setting and let’s not forget the stunning golden hour we were so lucky to be blessed with! I wanted to create something warm, but autumnal and with intimate boho princess vibes. The eco-friendly venue ‘Wellington Wood’ was the ideal location for my vision – full of character, tipis and heart, I knew it would be the perfect setting.
The colour palette was very much autumnal inspired and it included a muted pink to soften and give a contemporary feel, rusty orange and with hints of copper in the details. We had the absolute dream team of suppliers together for this shoot on an incredible collaboration with two stunning couples to showcase two different looks which I hope you enjoy!!
Faye, who created the on-the-day stationary suggested create a DIY table plan which ended up being an amazing collaboration, but so simple! I spray painted a POS mesh panel copper and we tied it onto a copper frame from Dolly’s Vintage Tea Party. Our wonderful florist, Jamie created these beautiful pieces to go round the outside and it all came together brilliantly – the colours and textures in the florals fitted the theme so well.
The incredibly talented Beth created an wonderful three tier masterpiece cake for the shoot, which was contemporary but also timeless and really complimented the boho autumn vibes. The invitation suite was crafted by Katy from Dove and Lace which we styled with some of the florals, rings (Cast) and jewellery (Angel Whisperer by Guardian Brands). The rusty orange together with the dusty pink has this gorgeous subtle feminine feel.
Our stunning first couple (Shauna and Dean) absolutely aced it! Shauna’s dress was floaty and princess-y it gave a totally different feel to the shoot and made it feel so whimsical and straight out of the most picturesque fairytale. Both the girl’s hair and make up was done by Barberella Bridal Hair (Hair) and Makeup By Sam (MUA). Shauna’s up-do styled with the piece from Garter and Veil really fitted in with the boho theme.
Our second couple was Eloise and Tom. Eloise’s boho lace style dress was ideal for the golden lighting and gave the most romantic finish to a dreamy day of shooting! Some of my favourite images from this whole shoot were the sunset photos on the giant swing as they felt so warming and full of authenticity.
