Flying all the way from Mauritius, Joséphine and Sarah celebrated their wedding at the breathtaking Wilderness Reserve nestled in the scenic Suffolk countryside. Their wedding day was nothing short of magical, filled with touching speeches, epic dancing, stunning florals, and of course, the incredible bond shared by the couple.
Joséphine and Sarah began their day in the luxurious on-site accommodation provided by Wilderness Reserve, surrounded by their loved ones. With everything conveniently located within walking distance (or a picturesque cycle ride!), they enjoyed the serene beauty of the venue. Josephine wore a beautiful floaty off the shoulder wedding dress with pale pink shoes by Loeffler Randall. She styled this with a pearl headband and statement floral earrings. Sarah wore a classy and elegant double breasted white suit with white suit trousers.
Their heartfelt cereony unfolded outdoors, against the stunning backdrop of the Sibton Park Manor House and its tranquil lake, accented by a modern deconstructed floral arch. We were lucky that the weather held out and allowed them to have the whole ceremony outdoors as planned! You never know with British weather! But they did have a fabulous backup plan of hosting the ceremony in the beautiful Orangery at Sibton Park.
Following the emotional ceremony, guests mingled during a relaxed drinks reception outside Sibton Park. It was a beautiful August day in Suffolk – the cocktails were flowing, the guests were enjoying their oysters and canapés, and the string quartet was playing. Towards the end of the drinks reception, heartfelt speeches were enjoyed outside the Manor House before all the guests sat down for the unforgettable wedding breakfast.
The wedding breakfast was a feast for the senses, with ghost chairs, rattan light shades, and neutral florals adorning the marquee, creating a chic and laid-back atmosphere. The U-shaped table setup not only added to the elegance but also provided ample space for dancing into the afternoon and evening—a perfect setup for couples who prioritise a lively party atmosphere! Everything was under a stretch tent canvas marquee by Miller Marquees with connected the Orangery to give the perfect flow of events for later in the evening.
We were so lucky to have such gorgeous weather for Josephine and Sarah’s Wilderness Reserve wedding. The sun came back out for our portrait session and we got a beautiful golden hour. We started creating some magical portraits outside Sibton Park and then when that sun came back out again we headed for the light. Wilderness Reserve is surrounded by an abundance of gorgeous scenery and stunning photo spots.
